Insanity or is it something different? Have they lost their minds?

Tis the time of the year where every one goes a little crazy at least some of us do.

Much of Halloween is based on superstition but there were very real issues that caused ordinary people to put others to death convinced that they were a witch.

They even had tests that were completely unfair, like the put a witch in water and if she floats then she is a witch and must be put to death, but if she sinks and then drowns, then she was innocent of the charges of witchcraft.

Now that my friends is fiendish in the extreme.

You see because all they had to do was to just accuse you and then if you passed the test they put you to death for witch craft, if you failed, well you were dead and so were not a threat.

There were some really amazing stories about the salem witch trials, you might be amazed at what they talked about as if it were true.

What the real facts were behind the salem witch trials, mostly women and most of them were in fact, mid wives.
