Harry Potter and the never ending story…

Saturday, July 18th, 2009

I can still remember the first time I ever heard of Harry Potter, I dismissed it as more of a child’s tale for children than something an adult might be interested in however, I was wrong not only on the one front but also on many fronts, there was a magic about it that tended to just sweep you away if you were in deed a child then it was truly a magical experience.

Filled with the wonderment a child might feel on christmas morning a magical experience which I expect it was meant to be that way so that the books and movies would be popular, they were and are in fact still very popular.

If on the other hand you were an adult, the tale could magically transport you back into your child hood, or at least for a while, a magical tale of wizards and trolls made all the fun for a season known mostly for the cold nights, I watched it over and over again, and still to this day find my self enchanted by the wondrous magic that the movies and books still hold.

Harry Potter has tackled many a foe but mostly it has been the one foe, this story has taken on a life of its own, as perhaps the author wishes it had not, but still as an author one has the responsibility, to maintain the story.

Much like the Star Wars Books and movies Harry Potter these stories became more and more creating a story inside a story in a brilliant way, over the years there have been many star wars authors, which is something that is unusual in that most authors do not allow this but I am happy to report that I have indeed read many of these anthologies, and have been rewarded for the experience.

It has been said that this particular author has the proclivity to do in Harry Potter so that she can move on to another series of books or perhaps just retire, who knows for sure what may be going on inside the head of an author as they are indeed interesting people capable of both good and evil, but many feel that this particular author is tired of Harry and wants to do him in, for good.

Though she may indeed seek his death, I suspect that if she is tired of him he will return under another authors care, If “You Know Who” can come back from the dead at every turn, then certainly Harry Potter can be returned from the land of the dead, if he ventures too close to its borders.

We may never know why the author has begun to hate Harry Potter, or should we say the author allegedly hates harry potter?  Perhaps that is the better tact, either way when you create such real characters sometimes they take on a life of their own and there is no way to undo what you have so cleverly done in the first place.

Even though we have not read the latest installment of the series, we would like to let the author know that no amount of killing will be good enough because Harry Potter will return…

Harry Potter is not the sort of Wizard that can be so easily wished out of existence no matter how much you may hate harry, who knows for sure, what may happen except for the author and yes Harry Potter I am sure knows, though there are many things that are shrouded in mystery the one thing that is clear is that the star Harry and Hermione are obviously in love with one another it is something that perhaps the author did not intend, but they are of a certainty bound together in the story like no other characters, even if the author again rails against the pairing, it is something that cannot be helped.

Harry Potter

Hopefully the two will have their moments together on the screen before the author end the series.

The world may never know for sure, but time will tell…

Until then enjoy the books and I am sure Harry Potter
Will be back…

Seven Stories of Christmas Love

Thursday, November 6th, 2008

by Buscaglia, Leo F, Ph.D.

Dr. Buscaglia shares seven holiday episodes from his life and tells how each event reinforced his belief in the value of caring and love. He reminds us that Christmas can last more than one day–that the spirit and magic of the season can thrive all the time. Peace, joy, and good will are not seasonal–they are life-sustaining, life-enhancing, hopeful words that should be spoken, sung, and practiced all the months of the year.
