Have you ever been waiting in line somewhere, these days, it can be anywhere, even Disney world, yes, you pay huge fees to get into Disney land and you still have to wait sometimes up to an hour in line…

You know how boring it can be driving at night or even during the day and you get sleepy, well now you can be learning.

books on CD, are hot, titles can be hard to find andexpensive, we have some affordable titles and many other books as well.  

Cds are the going thing for private listening to books,  it is so much easier just to listen, more so when the reader is an experienced professional and can lend moredepth into the reading. So why are cassettes  on the out, you can get cassettes, really cheap, I found a retail shopselling them for a few dollars,

but the CDs and DVDs well that was quite the different story. They seem to have a very good resale value.  Books on tape are great for traveling, commuting 

(as long as you can listen and concentrate on driving at the same time, some can some cant)  It can make a long drive seem much shorter.  

So grab a CD and have a listen.  

Reading is not only fun but it can be better than any movie, why?  Well it has to do with How do you read, is it like an adventure, in your head?

Do the characters become like old friends?

Reading to me is like a movie, inside my head, after reading for a few minuets, I forget that I am actually reading a book and it becomes this movie that is playing in my mind, is it like that for you?   Scientific studies suggest that it can be like this for readers, however it is either something that you have or you have not.

I do wonder thought if it is something that can be learned or is this something you are born with.

I hope that it can be learned, because I would love to be able to share this ability with everyone.

I have at times, read a book and in some ways could not distinguish it from a movie, which may sound strange to the tourist reader, however, to the constant reader, reading a good book can be like visiting with a good friend over a particularity good cup of coffee, reading about the textures, the smell of the coffee, sitting in a back yard, in the morning and sharing conversation.

Reading can be like this, and in fact I rather suspect that is is like this for perhaps 40 percent of readers, that read more than 10 books a year…

When you read is it like a movie playing in your mind?

Want to read some fiction that may actually happen someday…  Well you can and if you have not read this book you really should….

Well it turns out that the flu problem was not really a problem at all, and some are saying that it may have been mostly media hype, but if that is true then what is the real story and can we trust the media to tell it…

Every time I hear a news story about h1n1, I think about the stand, which is based on an influenza virus that escapes a government lab, of course this is just fiction, but in the book and the movie, this fictional virus is very lethal, leaving a world just about empty of its previous inhabitants.

With all the insanity going on about the flu bug you have to wonder about the real possibility of the stand being more than just a book some day perhaps some of todays politicians have read the stand and are having a hard time differentiating between reality and a well written book, or even more diabolical, what if the book gave someone an idea, a very bad one.

If you have the chance you should read this book because it is a good read.  Of course considering the way the book ends, there are a lot of interesting topics, in the book, being just a fiction and probably a little more and the book is also mentioned in the dark tower series as well as other honorable mentions in several other books.

The Stand as a book is nothing short of incredible, the stand as the movie, ahh, could be better, as far as stephen king movies go it was better than most, but still fell short of the real thing, which is most always the book, either way it is worth going after and in the end they all stand.

You can find books to buy online at a price that is far below what you would pay at the mall or even at some so called discount stores. In fact you might be surprised at what you can find right here.
