There seems to be a lot of interest in this show, however to be honest, I just do not get it, I have watched it, and after seeing the show, I have to just ask myself, did they really show me anything. Add to that the very real aspect of the drama effect, which means that, probably you are watching hype.

So lets take a hard look at this entire branch of entertainment, and that is what it is, entertainment.

Just watch the show sometime, and turn off the volume, what you will notice right away is that visually the show is not much at all in fact it is shows precious little besides a green distorted look most of the time.

So at the end of the day, is ghost hunters a real show or is it just hyped drama, the answer is I guess in the eye of the beholder, if you like that sort of borderline TV, then I guess its ok, but in reality the show is just not as good as the advertisements.
